Due to construction work, there will be service restrictions on the Berlin S-Bahn during the Easter holidays.

The Ringbahn will be suspended between Treptower Park and Tempelhof from 30 March until the night of 13 April, according to a statement from the railway company. This is due to the refurbishment of the Neukölln signal box.

Replacement buses in service

The S46 line from Königs Wusterhausen therefore terminates at Treptower Park, as does the S47 line from Spindlersfeld. On the S41 and S42 circular lines, replacement buses will operate on the affected section during the Easter holidays. Buses will also run on the S46 between the S-Bahn and U-Bahn station at Tempelhof and the S-Bahn station at Baumschulenweg. Construction work is also taking place in Lichterfelde Süd. There, the railway is renewing tracks between 27 March and 13 April. S-Bahn services are therefore suspended between Teltow Stadt and Lichterfelde Ost. This affects the S25 line from Hennigsdorf and the S26 line from Blankenburg. Both services terminate at Lankwitz.
