Berlin's first street art museum, the Museum for Urban Contemporary Art, opened in Schöneberg in 2017.

With the museum, the international Urban Nation network aims to bring together artists from all over the world in Berlin who creatively design urban spaces. The Berlin Lotto Foundation is supporting the project.

The emergence of a subculture

In the Urban Nation Museum, visitors can follow the history of the emergence of urban art. Over 100 exhibits come together to form an interactive exhibition that aims to challenge traditional viewing habits. In addition, a timeline on the second floor of the museum tells the story of how it has developed since its opening.
